Penny and Brain solved all of Inspector Gadget's cases for him. Of course, he was completely oblivious to the truth and thought he was just good at his job!

3. What was the name of Inspector Gadget's boss?

Answer: Chief Quimby

Chief Quimby always suffered a misfortune in each episode. After he had given Gadget his new assignment Gadget would accidentally lock him in a filing cabinet or throw a self destructing letter onto him!

4. What was the name of the evil organisation that Gadget used to fight?

Answer: M.A.D.

I have tried everywhere to find out what M.A.D stood for. Many thanks to trivia member Rene711 for sending me the answer! It is the Malevolent Agency of Destruction, so now you know! :-)

'Yoiks' is something Shaggy ('Scooby Doo') would be heard saying, 'excellent' is certainly what Mr Burns ('The Simpsons') would come out with, and Mr Hankey ('South Park') can often be heard saying 'Hidey Ho boys and girls!'

Frank Welker provided the voices of Brain, Dr Claw and M.A.D.Cat. Maurice LaMarche was Chief Quimby and Townsend Coleman would occaisonally be required to provide the voice of Corporal Capeman.

Although Doctor Claw was one of the main characters in 'Inspector Gadget' we never saw him in full. Usually only his hand would be seen!

'Get Smart' was a series based around Agent 86, Maxwell Smart who worked for CONTROL. Maxwell Smart was played by none other than Don Adams - the man who provided the voice of Gadget.

The film also starred Rupert Everett as Doctor Claw. Don Adams pops up in this film too, but this time he provides the voice of Brain (the dog).
