Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. We know Julian is a lemur, but what kind of lemur is he?

Answer: Ring-Tailed Lemur

I can hear Skipper saying, "Ring tail!" in a disgusted tone after Julian does something extremely annoying.
2. Julian considered himself to be king of the Central Park Zoo. Remembering back to the "Madagascar" movie, why might Julian think himself to be a king?

Answer: He was actually the king of a tribe lemurs in Madagascar.

When we first see Julian in the movie he is leading his tribe in a swinging disco number.
3. In "Operation: Neighbor Swap" Julian and his lemur team are making a racket and driving the Penguins nuts. What are they doing?

Answer: They are jamming as a punk rock band.

Julian has lead guitar, Maurice bass guitar, and Mort does drums. It might be music, but probably not.
4. In "Operation: Neighbor Swap", at one point Julian is talking to Mort about why the bunnies can touch his feet but Mort can't and he says, "I am going to just bottom line this for you." How does Julian finish this?

Answer: They are not you.

By hacking into the Zoo computer the penguins get the lemurs transferred to the Petting Zoo. At first Julian freaks out. He soon changes his mind when three cute female bunnies offer to be his new subjects. Soon we see Julian on his new throne with the bunnies massaging his feet. Mort, who loves Julian's feet but is not allowed to touch them, is quite upset. Julian tells him a number of reasons why the bunnies are allowed. Mort objects to each reason, and finally Julian says, "They are not you".

It is a classic Julian put down of the long suffering Mort.
5. In "Rat Fink" the penguins' surveillance of the rats goes offline just as it sounds like they are planning something major. They decide they need to send in a spy in disguise to find out what the rats are up to. They chose Mort for this mission. Why Mort?

Answer: He is the closest option they have in rat like size and shape.

Mort may be many things, but clever is not on that list. While he is dumb enough to do it, Julian really wants to go to show off his, to his mind, exceptional acting skills.
6. In "Rat Fink", what two things do the penguins do to Mort to complete his rat disguise?

Answer: They shave his tail down to the skin and give him a false nose.

When they shave the tail they discover a red stripe on his tail which becomes key to the story.
7. In "Rat Fink", Kowalski develops a complicated back story for Mort. He, of course, totally fails to get it. Skipper finally breaks the mission brief down to three words which, with a little work, Mort gets. What are those three words?

Answer: Be the rat.

Again, this message is key to the story. Just another example of how a penguin mission can go wrong.
8. In "Rat Fink", almost as soon as Mort enters the rat's lair he is discovered and the Penguin's radio bug goes dead. The Skipper adopts a disguise to go in after him. Julian can't stand being left out and joins in with a series of disguises. Which is a disguise he doesn't try?

Answer: Sumo wrestler

Julian's impression are just awful. Skipper is not much better. Both are soon taken captive by the rats.
9. In "Rat Fink", Skipper and Julian find that the rats have a powerful new leader. Who is it?

Answer: Mort

Mort is focused on his instruction to "Be the rat" and is more rat like than even the other rats. It helps that he has that red stripe on his tail which, from an old poster, the rats think is a sign of the chosen one come to lead them to a better life.
10. In "Rat Fink", Mort tells the rats of the wonderful life at the zoo where lots of food is provided for all. He leads an invasion of the zoo but it ultimately fails. What instruction does Mort give the rats regarding the zoo animals that doesn't work out well for the rats?

Answer: Give them hugs and kisses

Even though Mort is "Being the rat", his cute and cuddly nature comes through and he instructs his rat hordes to hug and kiss the zoo animals. Not surprisingly, the zoo animals are not impressed and soon chase the rats back into the sewer.
