Chapter name: 'Brightheart Speaks-The Death of Swiftpaw'. This chapter is mainly about a part in "The Darkest Hour" when the dogs attacked Swiftpaw and Brightpaw, which is otherwise untold.

Answer: leaping fish.

This is Bluepaw's (later on Bluefur and Bluestar) first Gathering. In this chapter she says that one day, she will be the leader of Thunderclan - and she actually is, later!

Haven't you noticed how alike these two clans are? Riverclan and Shawdowclan both had four medicine cats. Riverclan's medicine cats are Dapplepelt, Brambleberry, Mudfur, Mothwing; Shadowclan's medicine cats are Pebbleheart, Yellowfang, Runningnose and Littlecloud.

Brambleberry was Riverclan's second medicine cat and has never been in Thunderclan.

That was the day Windclan returned from exile; later on, a Riverclan patrol attacked Fireheart and Graystripe and a warrior named Whiteclaw fell to his death over the edge of the gorge.
