Built in the U.K. in 1948 and nicknamed 'Baby', it was over 2m high and 5m long, baby had only 128 bytes of memory. In 1946 the Americans thought they had built the first computer called the Electronic Numerical Intergrator and Communicator, which was used to calculate trajectory for shells in World War Two, but could not be classed as a computer because it had no memory.
