"The PowerPuff Girls" ran for six seasons starting at the end of the 1990s. They were three kindergarteners with superpowers. Blossom is pink, Bubbles is blue and Buttercup, green. If you haven't seen this, check it out. Mojo-Jojo and HIM are the best villains!
2. LITERATURE: What happens to our main character in the end in the original 'Little Mermaid' fairy tale?

Answer: She dies.

"The Little Mermaid" was written by Hans Christian Andersen in 1837. The original Dutch title is "Den Lille Havfrue." It was published as part of a fairy tale book for young children. Some historians say that 'The Little Mermaid' was a love letter from Andersen to Edvard Collin.
3. MOVIE: In 'Gone With the Wind,' what did Scarlett initially want to name Bonnie?

Answer: Eugenie Victoria

Mammy (Hattie McDaniel) announces this in the movie. Vivien Leigh played Scarlett O'Hara. Olivia de Havilland, the last surviving cast member of "Gone with the Wind," died in 2020 at 104.
4. ANIMALS: What is a female goose called?

Answer: Dame

Sometimes a female is called a goose, whereas the male is called a gander. Usually, the female has a shorter neck than the male. A group of geese on the ground is called a gaggle. However, if they are flying, they are a skein of geese.
5. BRAIN TEASER: What female celebrity name do you hear when you say this: Cat Ye Leigh Gift Herd

Answer: Kathie Lee Gifford

Kathie Lee Gifford was born in Paris, France, in 1953. She is best known as Regis' partner on "Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee," from 1985-2000. From 2008-2019 she co-hosted the fourth hour of "Today" with Hoda Kotb. She was married to former football player Frank Gifford from 1985-2015 when he passed away.
6. RELIGION: In the Bible, in Judges, who was the woman that drove a tent peg into Sisera's head in chapter four of the NIV?

Answer: Jael

Sisera was the commander of the army of King Jabin in Canaan. Deborah was the judge at the time. Barak was supposed to deal with Sisera, but he wouldn't go without Deborah. In 4:9, Deborah said, "Certainly I will go with you, but because of the course you are taking, the honor will not be yours, for the LORD will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman." Barak did wipe out all of Sisera's troops, but Sisera ran to Jael's tent.

He told her to guard the tent, and after he fell asleep, she took a tent peg and a hammer and put the peg through Sisera's head.
7. HISTORY: Who was the first woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize?

Answer: Bertha von Suttner

For those of you who thought it was Marie Curie, she was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize in general for Physics in 1903. She was also the first woman to win twice when she won for Chemistry in 1911. However, the Nobel Peace Prize went to Bertha von Suttner in 1905. Baroness Bertha Sophie Felicitas Freifrau von Suttner was an Austrian-Bohemian pacifist and writer.

She often corresponded with Alfred Nobel, and some believe she influenced his decision to include a peace prize with the others in his will.
8. VIDEOGAMES: Who is the very last boss in 'Zelda 64' (aka "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.")?

Answer: Ganondorf

Bowser was a character that had to beat in many of the Super Mario Nintendo games. Dr. Robotnik is a character from "Sonic the Hedgehog." Dr. Willy was from "Mega Man." In "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time," Ganondorf kidnaps Princess Zelda, and Link has to fight him to save Zelda. This was the fifth game of the Zelda series.
9. WORLD: What is the Greek word for woman?

Answer: Gynaika

"Koritsi" is girl, "andras" is man, and "agori" is boy. In Greek, the word woman is feminine, and the word for "the" before it as in "the woman" is "I gynaika" as opposed to "O," which is the masculine the, or "to" which is the neutral the. Also, the word "a" as in "A woman" is "mia" verses "enas," masculine, or "ena," which is neutral.
10. HUMANITIES: Who is the main female character in "The Pajama Game?"

Answer: Babe

"The Pajama Game" is a musical by George Abbott and Richard Pike Bissell based on the novel "Seven and a Half Cents" by Richard Bissell. The music for the musical was composed by Richard Adler, and the lyrics were written by Jerry Ross. Babe is a factory worker at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory.

She meets, dates, and falls in love with Sid, the new superintendent. But the factory workers are getting ready to strike because they want a seven and a half-cent raise. If they go on strike, Babe and Sid would be on opposite sides.

The question then is can their love survive a strike at work? Janis Paige played Babe in the original Broadway run. There was a movie made of the musical in 1957, in which Babe was played by Doris Day.
