Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "XXXX" is a petrol company that originated in Queensland.

Answer: False

XXXX or Fourex is a Queensland beer. At one stage Queensland's sporting personalities, including King Wally Lewis and 'Thommo', heavily promoted it. The commercial rhyme for XXXX was:
"Melbourne's got rain and Sydney's got yuppies.
Tassie got the chop and we got lucky.
Nobody does it like up here does it.
We love it here.
We don't just like it, we love it!
We don't just like it, we love it!
We love it up here.
The people, the places, the mates, the faces.
The XXXX, yep, the beer up here, we love it up here".

This is an actual place that has a post office and a population of 33. It is located 30 km east of Dalwallinu (Dalwallinu is 248 km from Perth). On the website of "TravelDownunder.com.au." the description for Xantippe reads for intending tourists "It is one of the highest points around the district and a climb to the top of the hill gives one a panoramic view to the east.

A large granite rock and water catchment area, it has a large cement tank built in the late twenties to provide fresh water for the surrounding district - a scarce commodity in the early days.

After winter rains, a delightful little stream winds its way through the rocks, its edges studded with wildflowers." I know where I will be going for my next holiday!
