The Z class tram was introduced in 1980 to supersede the W class tram that began operation in the 1920s. Though these are modern and closed in, many people still prefer the W class as they were open in the middle.

Sorry to all those who come from or love the ACT, but I had to choose some place. 'The Big Toad' is found in Sarina (Qld) and 'The Big Axe' is in Kendall (NSW). In Victoria there is 'The Big Worm' in Bass. 'The Big Coffee Pot' can be visited in Deloraine, Tasmania. Travel to Cobber Pedy, South Australia, to see 'The Big Winch'. Western Australia is small on 'bigs' but it does have 'The Big Orange' at Harvey. I could not find anything for either the Northern or Australian Capital Territories.
