The republic was proclaimed on October 31 1918 as the Austro-Hungarian Empire collapsed. Serbian troops entered some days later and ended this republic.

Answer: Gagauzia

The region which is part of Moldovan proclaimed independence in 1990. It ended its conflict with Moldova in 1995 after becoming an autonomous region of this country in 1994.

Western Bosnia was led by war lord Fikret Abdic. It was given the name Republic of Western Bosnia in 1995 with Abdic as president, but the "state" was soon to be defeated by the Croatian and Bosnian Armies.
