He was less than satisfied with the quality of the marble! "Pieta" was intended for Michelangelo's own tomb, but it was never used as such. Today, it can be found in the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, the arm back in place with the help of Michelangelo's pupil Tiberio Calcagni. This is of course only one of Michelangelo's "Pieta"s, the most famous is the one in the Vatican.
