Answer: Miss Mathwin

 These were the last words spoken by Gitara Moroso. They foretell the birth of the Dragon Reborn on Dragonmount during the Blood Snow at Tar Valon. The others present in the Amyrlin's sitting room were the Amyrlin Seat Tarna Ospenya and two Accepted called Siuan Sanche and Moiraine Damodred.
Verin Mathwin was not present.

2. Where should you rather not spend the night?

Answer: The Tipsy Gelding

 The Tipsy Gelding is the name of an inn which is unluckily situated in Hinderstap. This small town is cursed in that way that every night all inhabitants turn into bloodthirsty maniacs, killing everyone within sight only to wake up again next morning. If you were to spend the night there you would be dragged into the curse and would be unable to escape henceforth.
The other inns offer only the usual risks of cutpurses, Darkfriends and watered ale.

 Elan Morin Tedronai is now better known as Ishmael. He spoke these words to Lews Therin, shortly before Kinslayer's death.
Barid Bel Medar is the name of Demandred, Tel Janin Aellinsar is Sammael, Ishar Morrad Chuain is known as Aginor.

 While desperately trying to get away from the battle for Cairhien, Mat Cauthon encounters a small force of cavalry and foot soldiers. Daerid is the commander of the Cairhien pikemen.
Estean was also part of that army but Mat had already met him before. Melindra is a Maiden of the Spear with whom Mat had a short-lived liaison. Mat doesn't meet her during the fight. Alludra was not present.
