Answer: Eurycleia

The scar is from a boar hunt. Odysseus swears her to secrecy.

Answer: Xanthus and Balius

They prophesized that Achilles (their owner) would die.
4. In the 'Iliad', what is the name of the first person to die in Troy?

Answer: Protesilaus

Odysseus tricked him. The legend stated that the first person to land on the beaches of Troy would die. No one wanted to be the first, so Odysseus took the role, Protesilaus followed and thought that he was safe. Odysseus jumped out and landed on his shield to make sure that he wasn't technically the first. The prophecy came true.

6. In Plato's 'Symposium', who gives a speech on the origin of the human race?

Answer: Aristophanes

He was very drunk and not in great condition. Plato believed that Aristophanes contributed to the death of Socrates. Plato probably wanted show the low intellect that Aristophanes had.
7. In Plato's 'Parmenides', what example does Socrates give for the 'One' being one? (A question about metaphysics).

8. In Plato's 'Meno', what is the Greek word for remembering the knowledge from before we where born?

Answer: anamnesis

Anamnesis is one of Plato's most famous ideas. This is key in Plato's epistomology; our soul possesses knowledge, and that knowledge is lost because of the shock our soul receives at birth. Mnemosyne is the moher of the Nine Muses. Remembra and pre-logos probably don't exist.
9. In Plato's 'Republic', who or what should rule?

Answer: philosopher king

It is a well-known idea. The philosopher king has the ability to reach the Form of the Good. Plato hated democracy and tyranny, he thought that the best ruler could only be a philosopher.

Answer: Xenophon

I hope you didn't fall for it, it's a different Aristotle than the one that you are probably thinking of. It is a different person, who is not really well known.
