"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3" Stands Quiz

Answer: Magician's Red

Star Platinum's arm is seen when it catches the bullet that Jotaro fires, but Magician's Red is the first Stand whose full body is seen. Fitting, since the Magician is number 1 in a tarot deck!

Answer: Strength

Strength appears in the ocean as a freighter boat, which the user, Forever the orangutan, can control entirely, right down to making pipes burst out of the walls. However, the real power of Strength is its ability to possess an inanimate object and turn it into a larger and more powerful version of itself (the aforementioned freighter was actually bound to a very small yacht). It does not just summon a boat out of thin air.

Interestingly, due to its appearance as a gigantic freighter, Strength is the largest Stand shown in the series.

Answer: Justice

The power of Justice is that it can enter a being through any wound, and control them through it. It's incredibly strong, due to its wide range and ability to control many bodies at once; this was even to the point that Enya, its user, was able to fool the protagonists into thinking there was a town on a plot of land that was actually a graveyard.

Answer: Steely Dan

Steely Dan was the user of the Stand Lovers, which entered Joseph's brain in order to plant one of DIO's flesh buds inside it to kill him. It also caused Joseph to feel any injuries that Dan suffered, meaning the group couldn't directly fight him without hurting or even killing Joseph. Kakyoin and Polnareff eventually defeated him by shrinking their Stands to go inside Joseph's brain, and once the danger was gone, Jotaro delivered a brutal beatdown to Steely Dan that lasted three full pages.

Answer: Mariah

Mariah, the user of the Stand Bastet, was somehow able to survive her fight with Avdol and Joseph. Why somehow, you ask? Bastet's ability was to turn a target into a magnet, and Avdol and Joseph defeated Mariah by trapping her between the two of them and crushing her body with the pieces of metal that covered them - which included a car.

Answer: Judgement

The true power of Judgement was that it was able to create homunculi out of dirt. However, in order to fool Polnareff, its user, Cameo, hid nearby and spoke through his Stand to make it seem like a genie. Polnareff made three wishes - the first was for riches, and the second and third were to bring his sister Sherry and Avdol back from the dead. Judgement granted all three, but Sherry and Avdol were brought back as homunculi, and attempted to kill Polnareff by eating him. Luckily, it turned out Avdol wasn't really dead, and he made a timely appearance to help out.

Answer: Cream

Avdol was presumed dead after the attack by Emperor and Hanged Man, but was later revealed to have survived. Later, however, he, Polnareff, and Iggy were ambushed by Cream, and Avdol was the first casualty.

Answer: three

They were Dark Blue Moon, Strength, and High Priestess. Dark Blue Moon's user pretended to be a ship captain and fought the group on a boat; Strength appeared to the group as a different boat and tried to kill them by controlling it; and High Priestess attacked the group while they were traveling on a submarine, utilizing its power to turn into inanimate objects to do battle.

Answer: Nine

The Nine Egyptian Glory Gods make up the second group of Stand Users fought in Part 3. Their Stands are Geb, Khnum, Thoth, Anubis, Bastet, Sethan, Osiris, Horus, and Atum.

Answer: Osiris

Osiris is the Stand of Daniel J. D'Arby, and its power revolves around soul-stealing. However, it can only accomplish this when its user defeats an enemy at a game. D'Arby is a gambler who beats Polnareff in a 50-50 game of chance, and Joseph in a game revolving around liquid in a cup.

He cheats both times, but Jotaro eventually manages to defeat him in a round of poker by breaking him with psychological warfare. It's probably my favourite fight in Part 3.

Answer: Horus

The user of Horus, Pet Shop, is a bloodthirsty falcon who Dio tasks with guarding his mansion. As a falcon, Pet Shop is capable of flying at high speeds, and uses Horus to fire missiles of ice at its enemies. It's ultimately defeated when Iggy traps it in place with The Fool and bites its beak closed. Since Pet Shop was charging up an ice missile at that time, the buildup of energy caused its head to explode.

Answer: Arabia Fats

Arabia Fats wields the Stand Sun, which appears as... the sun. Naturally, it causes the surrounding area to become extremely hot, but it's also capable of firing devastatingly powerful lasers. The main drawback is that it also affects the user, forcing him to take measures to deal with the heat.

Answer: His shadow

Sethan allows Alessi to control his shadow, and anyone who touches the shadow starts to get younger. This also causes them to lose their memories from when they were older. Polnareff is the initial victim, and it causes Silver Chariot to get younger as well.

If Alessi holds a weapon, Sethan also takes the same weapon as Alessi's shadow. This allows him to attack other Stands.

Answer: Hanged Man

Hanged Man, the Stand of J. Geil, appears as a light particle that can travel between reflective surfaces. This means that it moves at the speed of light, bouncing from surface to surface. When it appears in one, it can attack someone from within a reflection. However, when its secret is exposed, Hanged Man's path can be predicted, which proves to be its downfall.

Answer: Stopping time

This ends up being a big plot point late in the part; the heroes do not immediately know about the power of Dio's Stand, and it's eventually revealed that it has the ability to stop the flow of time. At its most powerful, Dio was capable of stopping time for nine seconds.

However, it's implied that he would've been able to keep it going for longer if he had survived. Luckily, Jotaro managed to manifest this ability for himself and killed Dio before it got too out of hand.
