Answer: 'No. But I'll survive'

Kamal Hadley asks Meggie this because he knew that his wife had been lying to him about what she had been doing the night before. She had used Meggie as an excuse but poor Meggie had not caught on when Kamal questioned her.

2. What did Sephy think of using tongues when she kissed Callum?

Answer: She thought it was 'nice in a gross-to-think-about-but-OK-to-do' sort of way

Callum and Sephy were only young at this time and Callum wanted to try kissing. He thought that 'if you can't kiss your best friend, who can you kiss?'.
