1. Who, out of the four liars, was the last to talk to Alison before she went missing?

Answer: Spencer Hastings

Ali was trying to hypnotise the girls but before she could do Spencer, Spencer leapt up and complained that it was too dark. Then they started arguing so Spencer said, "Leave", pointing at the door. So Alison left. Then Spencer ran after her, but couldn't find her.

2. What did Emily's mother formerly do for a job?

Answer: Elementary school teacher

In the first chapter it says that Emily's mother used to be an elementary school teacher but retired and now her job was as the Rosewood, Pennsylvania, Welcome Wagon Lady. She would put lots of random things into a basket (dried fruit, guide to Rosewood) and give them to the new residents in Rosewood.

3. Who was the new girl that was living in Alison's old bedroom?

Maya St. Germain and her family live in Alison's old house. Maya's bedroom is Alison's old bedroom. When Emily goes round to give her the welcome basket, Maya takes her up to her bedroom, where, for the first time, Emily tries weed.
