'Christine' was first published in 1983. It is about Arnie Cunningham and his obsession with his '58 Plymouth Fury. It was made into a film in 1983.

'Firestarter' was first published in 1980. It is about a little girl called Charlie who can light fires with her mind. It was made into a film in 1984 starring Drew Barrymore and in 2002 a TV movie sequal was made called 'Firestarter: Rekindled'.
