Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who is the leader of the Magi?

Answer: Gevan

The Magi are the group of Coercers who have formed a travelling show, to the disgust of Miryum. The Magi show includes magic tricks (very obvious ones, for safety reasons) knife throwing, and a hidden message. Merret is one of the stars, pretending to be Gevan's terrified and rather idiotic assistant.
2. In "Ashling", Elspeth thinks Freya is in love with Rushton. Who does she actually fall in love with?

Answer: Ceirwan

They eventually get together, which pleases Elspeth, who has seen some rather tragic consequences of unrequited love. It doesn't please Maruman, who gets left with the two of them and wakes up to see them acting very lovey-dovey.
3. What is the name of The One?

Answer: It isn't said

The One is the head of the Herder Faction.
4. What is the Sadorian word used for proposals?

Answer: ravek

Miryum thinks "ravek" is some kind of insult, and thumps the man who proposes to her. When he finds out that she was offended, he offered to kill himself.
Later she accidently gets engaged to the same man.
5. Who is the Moonwatcher?

Answer: Maruman

Gahltha is the Daywatcher, Swallow is the one of Kasanda's blood, and the temple overguardian is the one who will help them.
6. In 'The Keeping Place' who keeps disrupting the merge practice?

Answer: Zarak

He's angry that Elspeth is planning on making Aras the Farseeker ward instead of him.
7. Where does Elspeth find Rushton in 'The Keeping Place'?

Answer: In the Herder's cloister

He'd been kept there drugged, possibly by Ariel, so he could get Elspeth to tell him what she knew about the signs.
8. Where was the Reichler Clinic?

Answer: In the mountains around Obernewtyn

At first, the technoguilders thought the building in the city under Tor was the Clinic, then they discovered that it was merely the Reception Centre for the Clinic.
This didn't stop Garth getting people to dive down to the basement.
9. What country was Hannah Seraphim from (a country in existence now, not one of the Five Powers)?

Answer: Australia

Hannah was from the main island of Tipoda, which is almost definitely South East Asia, New Zealand and Australia. England became part of Uropa, Canada became part of Mericanda, and Turkey (or 'Turka) got bombed into oblivion and became an uncrossable borderland between Uropa and Gadfia, which was considered a very good thing, except by those in Turka at the time.
10. What is the name of the fifth book in the series? (in the UK)

Answer: The Stone Key

I imagine it will be very long, considering everything that still has to happen. In the US, this book is split in two, "Wavesong" and "The Stone Key".
