2. How many clocks were bought for the prank against Gerry Wade?

Answer: Eight

Everyone performing the stunt bought one clock, so that would cover Jimmy, Bill, Ronny, Socks, Helen, and Nancy. Two additional clocks were bought for Lady Coote and Pongo because Jimmy thought that they should be in on the fun. After everyone realized that Gerry passed away in the night, seven of the eight clocks were lined up on the mantle, and one was thrown away.
3. What is Bundle's actual name?

Answer: Eileen

Bundle is the protagonist of the novel, and she ends up doing most of the dirty work in solving the mystery. Bundle's full name is Lady Eileen Brent, and she is the daughter of Lord Caterham. Agatha Christie also used the surname, Brent, in her novel "And Then There Were None", although it was referring to the character Emily Brent.
4. What is Rupert Bateman's nickname?

Answer: Pongo

Jimmy and the gang usually call Rupert by his nickname because they grew up and went to school together. Pongo is known for his stealthy way of sneaking around. Pongo is one of the employees at the Chimneys Estate.
5. Who works at Scotland Yard?

Answer: Battle

Bundle often confides in Battle because she knows that he couldn't be the killer responsible for the recent occurrences. In the end, a deeper secret about Superintendent Battle is revealed in the Seven Dials Club.
6. Who is the doorman at the Seven Dials Club?

Answer: Alfred

The Seven Dials Club is a seedy bar which serves fish and chips and offers a gambling experience. Alfred originally worked at the Chimneys Estate, but he decided to leave to work at the club. Alfred assists Bundle when she decides to sneak into the back rooms of the club.
7. Where does Bundle hide in the Seven Dials Club?

Answer: In a cupboard

Bundle decides to secretly attend a gathering of the Seven Dials by hiding in one of the used cupboards in the room. She had Alfred bring her a key, they cleared the shelves, made a small eyehole with a gimlet, and Alfred locked the cupboard when he left. Bundle overheard the entire meeting and Alfred opened the cupboard some time later.
8. Who killed Gerry Wade?

Answer: Jimmy

In the end, it is revealed that Bundle was actually helping the enemy. Jimmy Thesiger drugged Gerry Wade before he went to bed, and murdered Ronny Devereux moments before Bundle nearly hit him in her car. Jimmy wasn't in it alone though; Lorraine Wade was also a part of the crime because she gathered and presented information to Jimmy. Both end up caught by the police in the end.
9. Who is No. 7?

Answer: Superintendent Battle

During the book, Bundle stumbled upon the fact that No. 7 never appeared at any of the Seven Dials meetings, and discovering the identity became another one of her goals. The identity is revealed in the end of the novel when she discovers that the club is actually the good side and Jimmy and Lorraine are the bad side. Battle attempted to keep his identity secret from everyone else so that the investigation would go on smoothly, and it worked.
10. What position does Bill Eversleigh hold in the Seven Dials Club?

Answer: No. 3

In the end, Bundle takes another shock when she realizes that Bill is also a member of the club. She also discovers that Countess Radzky was the actress that Bill spoke of, Babe St. Maur. The talented actress held the No. 1 position in the club.
Because of her sleuthing, loyalty, and the fact that she discovered the club's secrets, Bundle is offered the position of No. 2 in the Seven Dials Club. In the end, Bill and Bundle decide to get married, Jimmy is caught by the police, and the whole mystery is solved.
