Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What was Eddy's last name?

Answer: Hall

Eddy Hall was a young man who lived with his aunt and uncle along with his older sister. On Eddy's birthday, he got a new bicycle and then it was stolen later on.
2. What was the name of Eddy's older sister?

Answer: Eleanor

Through most of the story, Eleanor was basically complaining all the time because she didn't get an invitation to some girl's party like all the other girls in school did.
3. Who sent Eddy the bicycle that would take someone into the past or the future?

Answer: Prince Krishna

After the first bike Eddy got for his birthday was stolen, he got a new bike from someone known as Prince Krishna. But, this bike was no ordinary bike. It had a strange looking clock on it with numbers for days and years. After a while, Eddy learned the bike's secret and then Eddy started to time travel.
4. When Eddy time-traveled the first time, he went to the future.

Answer: False

Actually, he went two minutes back into the past and that was when Eddy found out the bike's secret.
5. What year did Eddy's sister go to when she time-traveled on the bike without Eddy's permission?

Answer: 1938

After watching an old movie from the 1930s, Eleanor found out that the actor she liked from the movie died in her very own town back in the year 1938 when he got into a car accident. So, she decided to use Eddy's bike to change history. She stole the bike and time traveled to the year 1938 so she could warn the actor about his coming death. But, the only problem was that destiny always got its own way.

She couldn't change history even though she tried.
6. What was the name of Eddy's aunt?

Answer: Aunt Alex

The name of Eddy's aunt was Aunt Alex and his uncle's name was Uncle Freddy. Both of them supported both Eddy and his sister Eleanor and they even had a daughter together known as Georgie.
7. What was the name of the man who lost a competition to Eddy's uncle?

Answer: Ralph Q. Preek

For as long as anyone could remember, Uncle Freddy and Ralph Q. Preek were always competing and Ralph was a sorry loser. After Uncle Freddy beat Ralph at their last competition, Ralph tried to get revenge by taking Uncle Freddy's house away from him.
8. Who else besides Eddy and Eleanor used the bike to time-travel?

Answer: Oliver

Oliver used the bike to travel back into the past before Eddy even had a chance to stop him. In the past, Oliver damaged his car and he could no longer drive it. When he went back to the past, he managed to save his car from the accident it was in. But, when he came back to the present, the damaged car was still there and the car he brought from the past was there too. Apparently, only one could be in the same place at the same time. So, the car from the past vanished before Oliver's very eyes and it went back to the past where it was meant to be.
9. Who did Eddy accuse of stealing his bicycles?

Answer: Hunky Poole

One time when Eddy went back to the past, he saw Hunky Poole on the first bike he got for his birthday. Then, his bike that he used for time-traveling came up missing after Hunky Poole saw Eddy with it. Eddy knew that it had to be Hunky Poole who was the thief.

He contacted the authorities and then he went to Hunky Poole's house to get his bikes back. Of course, Hunky Poole said he wasn't a thief and that he didn't have Eddy's bikes. There was really not that much that the authorities could really do without a search warrant either. So, Eddy went back home without his bikes. But, later on the bike he got from Prince Krishna came back to Eddy on its own, literally.
10. Did Eddy and his family lose their home at the end of the story?

Answer: No

At the end of the story, Ralph Q. Preek found some papers that said Uncle Freddy's home belonged to someone else. Apparently, there were no papers that proved that the home was his. But, thanks to the help of Eleanor, they didn't lose their home. When Eleanor went to the year 1938, she found a piece of paper that seemed to have been carried away by the wind.

The paper was actual proof that the relatives of Uncle Freddy bought the house and that it was theirs. Eleanor just so happened to have brought that piece of paper back with her, and if she didn't, they probably would've lost their home.
