When people heard this radio broadcast many of them only heard parts of it and took it as an actual alien invasion. People were leaving the city, hiding, and hoping that the aliens would not find them.
3. What was the name of the captain of the Nautilus in "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea"?

4. What was the occupation of the main character, Guy Montag, in Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451"?

Answer: Fireman

This book is set in a futuristic society that frowns on book reading and books in general. The name "Fahrenheit 451" refers to the temperature at which paper "auto-ignites." This was meant to be what Bradbury thought of America and society during the era. This novel was first released in 1953.
5. The skin of the Martians in "The Martian Chronicles" by Ray Bradbury was what color?

Answer: brown

This book is considered an episodic novel because it cuts off at certain points and returns to or completely gets rid of that part of the story in the next story in the book. It is one of his most famous books. This book was first published in 1950.

Answer: Impregnate them

This book has been adapted into a movie twice. Both adaptions were named "The Village of the Damned." This novel by John Wyndham was first published in 1957.
10. In the book, "On the Beach", by Nevil Shute, because of the deadly polluted winds, some of the inhabitants of Earth travel to what they believe is the only continent unaffected by the winds. What is that continent?
