Danny the cat is very talented. He sings and dances in his free time. He moves from Kokomo, Indiana, to Hollywood, California, with a list of plans to become a celebrity by the end of the week. Unfortunately, Danny soon learns that humans are the ones who get lead roles in Hollywood.

Answer: Darla Dimples

Danny moves to Hollywood and immediately scores a part in the new Noah's Ark movie, "Little Ark Angel". The star is a very mean girl named Darla Dimples. She pretends that she loves animals and that she is sweet when she is actually a spoiled brat. None of the people on the set like her.

Answer: Pudge the Penguin

Danny meets Pudge the penguin right when he gets to Hollywood. Pudge is also in the movie with him as a penguin. Pudge lives in Hollywood but sells donuts as a job. He believes that Danny will be a star someday. At rehearsal, Danny starts singing his one line, "Meow", stealing the spotlight away from Darla. Darla gets angry and shows her true colors while screaming at everyone in sight.

Answer: Dance the tango

Cranston is a crabby goat and Frances is a worn-out fish. In the good old days when they first came to Hollywood, they would dance the tango for fun. Soon, though, they realized that animals couldn't make it in Hollywood and gave up. Danny comes to Hollywood hoping to change that.

Answer: Sawyer and Wollie

Though all of the animals act in their spare time, Sawyer and Wollie have their own jobs. Wollie is the representative for the film company Mammoth Productions. His job is to trumpet at the beginning of all of the movies. Sawyer loves her job as a secretary to Farley Wink, head of the animal talent agency.

Answer: Darla

Danny brings all the animals together to sing in an alley. Everybody, even Sawyer, gets excited and happy. But by the end, Sawyer says that it's still a waste of time. Danny says he'll try to get them an audition with LB Mammoth, head of the studio. Darla overhears and tells Danny that she'll get him an audition. Danny makes this bargain because he loves to sing and dance and would give anything to be a star.

He already knows that they have an advantage being in the movie with Darla, but he doesn't know how he will get noticed. Little do the animals know that Darla is playing a trick to get them all unemployed.

Answer: She floods the stage while they're waiting for LB.

Darla is trying to wipe the animals out of Hollywood, so she tells everybody to wait in a sound stage and then floods the stage during LB Mammoth's press conference. LB thinks they did it on purpose and kicks them out of Hollywood. Everyone is unemployed, but Danny thinks of a way to fix everything.

Answer: Max

Danny invites everybody to Darla's premiere, hoping that they'll be able to perform afterwards. Danny is setting up backstage when Max, Darla's vicious and gigantic bodyguard, shows up. He tries to get rid of Danny and Pudge but ends up being blown away on a giant blowup figure of Darla.

Answer: She admits that she flooded the stage.

The animals come up on stage and give a tremendous performance. LB Mammoth and the audience loves them. Darla gets mad and yells that she was the one who flooded the stage. Everybody hears, so Darla gets fired and the animals take her job as the stars in Hollywood. Plus, Danny and Sawyer finally almost kiss.

Answer: Wizard of Oz

At the end after the animals get a picture taken for the newspaper, they start to star in every Hollywood movie! It shows funny movie posters of the characters starring in big movies, like TW the Turtle in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and Tillie in "Free Tilly"(a spoof of the movie "Free Willy").

They all live happily ever after, with Danny and Sawyer together and everybody doing what they really love.
