He wrote this book at age 15. At first, he didn't like the book, so he edited it. When he was done, his parents were astonished.

2. Who kills the Shade?

Answer: Eragon

He stabs the Shade in the heart. He does this while standing on Saphira's tail. While the Shade tries to strike Eragon, he loses sight of him. Taking this advantage, Eragon climbs onto Saphira's tail and strikes the shade from behind.

3. What is the Shade's name?

Answer: Durza

He works for the King. His job is to capture Eragon and bring him to the king. You find this out when he attacks Arya.
