Andy Stitzer (Steve Carell) and his colleagues worked at Smart Tech, a Circuit City type of store where they sold televisions, stereos and other electronic equipment. They also provided expert advice on computers and other gadgets. Andy was originally a customer service expert, but he was also shown, in the movie, as a salesman - for example, when he met Trish he sold her a combination DVD-VCR.

"Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" was set in the 1970s and was about a very successful news team, headed by anchorman Ron Burgundy (played by Will Ferrell). At the beginning of the movie, his news team consisted of lead reporter Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner), and weatherman Brick Tamland (Steve Carell). Their news world was turned upside down when the station hired a female, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), who ended up being Burgundy's co-anchor.

Luke Wilson was also in the movie, but he played Frank Vitchard, a rival newsman. He has starred in other films such as "Old School"(2001), "Legally Blonde"(2001) and "Alex and Emma"(2003). He also had a recurring role as Casey Kelso on "That '70s Show".

Their characters were named after script writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Rogen and Goldberg wrote the movie based on their own lives when they were younger. In the movie, Seth and Evan were high school seniors and best friends. They were pretty much each other's only friends, being fairly unpopular at school. Seth, especially, was obsessed with girls and how to get them.

Seth Rogen appeared in the film as a different character, Officer Michaels. During the night's events, Seth and Evan had some run-ins with the law, but it was "McLovin'" (Christoper Mintz-Plasse) who spent the most time with Officer Michaels.

"You Don't Mess with the Zohan" was about Zohan Dvir (played by Adam Sandler), an Israeli soldier who grew tired of his job. So, he faked his death and moved to New York to become a hairdresser. Judd Apatow co-wrote it with Sandler and Robert Smigel. They had actually originally written the movie in 2000, but felt that the movie would not be well-received after 9/11.

When Brennan's mother and Dale's father got married, the two forty-year old men had to adapt to life with a brother. Because each of them had lived with their parents prior to the marriage, they all ended up living together in one house. Brennan and Dale hated each other and fought like little kids, but grew to appreciate one another.
