Answer: Robert Muldoon

Robert Muldoon is Jurassic Park's game warden. He witnessed the death of a gatekeeper by a velociraptor, so he feels that all of the velociraptors should be destroyed. In the end, he gets attacked by one, which he calls a "clever girl", while another one watches him die.

Answer: Dennis Nedry

Dennis Nedry is a computer programmer at the park. He accepts a bribe in which he will steal dinosaur embryos, because he feels like John Hammond "got cheap" on him. He shuts down some of the computer systems in order to get the embryos. This leaves the park in an unsafe condition.

While trying to leave the island with the embryos, he looses control of his car and gets out. That's when he is attacked by a dilophosaurus. The Barbasol can with the embryos in it slips out of his jacket and gets buried in mud.

Answer: Ellie Sattler

When we first see Ellie, she is wearing a full denim outfit. By the time she gets to Jurassic Park, she has her pink shirt and khaki shorts on.

During the tour, Ellie gets out of the car to look at a sick triceratops. She decides to stay with the veterinarian and triceratops while the others leave. Being a paleobotanist, she knows a lot about plants, and wonders if West Indian lilac is making the trike sick.

Answer: Henry Wu

Henry Wu is a geneticist, and has a brief scene in the park laboratory, where we see a velociraptor egg hatch. He explains some of the science behind the creation and care of the dinosaurs, but he is seen multiple times erasing something on his clipboard, alluding to the fact that mistakes are being made.

Answer: Donald Gennaro

Donald Gennaro is the only character to be killed by a tyrannosaurus rex. On the tour, he gets scared and runs from his car to a small bathroom. He is seen sitting on the toilet when the t-rex blows the bathroom down, and he is quickly chomped and killed.
He knew of the serious safety concerns, and the death of the gatekeeper, but he still came to the island.

Answer: Ray Arnold

"Hold on to your butts", which is one of the most iconic quotes from "Jurassic Park", is said by Ray Arnold. Most of the things that he says are with a cigarette hanging from his lips.
Ray tries to get the computer systems running again, but he is attacked by a dinosaur in the maintenance shed, and all that we see of him after that is a dismembered arm.

Answer: John Hammond

In the movie, John Hammond is the only main character to escape the island physically unharmed. His clothes stay clean and white, and he even has his cane at the end.

While John Hammond lives in the movie, he doesn't make it off the island in the novel. He is attacked and killed by a group of procompsognathus dinosaurs, which we do not seen until "The Lost World: Jurassic Park", the sequel to "Jurassic Park".

Answer: Lex Murphy

Lex has a purple hat that she wears, or fans herself with, before the tyrannosaurus shows up. It is not seen any time after that.
She and her brother Tim survive a t-rex attack, a car getting smashed on top of them, a gallimimus stampede, and a kitchen with two raptors.
Before she and Tim run to the kitchen, Lex is eating Jello and shaking so much because she can see a raptor behind the wall.

Answer: Ian Malcolm

Ian Malcolm does not feel like Jurassic Park is a good idea. He thinks that nature cannot be contained. Though he acts rather childish at times, chewing gum and trying to be comical, he knows that there are serious problems with the park.

His wardrobe, which is almost all black, is very different than any of the other characters, who dress in lighter colors.

Answer: Alan Grant

Alan Grant does not have a strong connection with kids, but he is seen taking care of Tim and Lex much of the time. He grows to be very responsible with them, and tries hard to keep them safe. He throws away his velociraptor claw when he is in the tree with the kids.

Alan is persuaded to go to Jurassic Park when John Hammond visits him in Montana. John tells Alan that he will fund his dig for the next three years.
