Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Henry, the patient obsessed with organization, is emotionally attached to what item?

Answer: Clipboard

Henry, played by the hilarious Christopher Lloyd, is a tad obsessive compulsive, and a little delusional. He is super organized and uses his clipboard to take notes from group and write "reports" about his fellow group members.
2. At first, what does Albert want to do with the ten dollars Dr. Weitzman gives him?

Answer: Eat it

Dr. Weitzman gives each of the four patients ten dollars for the baseball game. Albert puts part of it in his mouth to eat it, but Dr. Weitzman convinces him that the hot dogs at the stadium are well worth the wait.
3. What does Jack seem to be most concerned about while waiting for Dr. Weitzman to return to the van?

Answer: His dinner

At this point in the movie, they have been waiting in the van for a while. Albert is quiet, as usual. Henry is certain Dr. Weitzman will be back shortly. Billy suspects they've purposely been abandoned, and Jack is worried about his dinner.
4. What does Albert have a tendency to steal?

Answer: Food

Albert has a tendency to take food from others. He takes a cupcake from a patient at the hospital, and according to Henry, he does this everyday. Later in the movie, he takes a partially-eaten hamburger from a police officer when he's not looking.
5. Before they start their trip, who tries to take the front seat away from Henry?

Answer: Jack

Jack tries to take shotgun from Henry, but Dr. Weitzman had promised Henry that he could navigate on the trip.
6. What line of business was Jack in before he was committed?

Answer: Advertising

Jack McDermott, played by Peter Boyle, was committed for believing he was Jesus. We learn about his former job when he visits his old office. Here is a quote from Jack about his former career, "I was senior V.P... I had a corner office, they crucified me!".
7. Who says this quote, "It's great to be young and insane"?

Answer: Billy

Billy, played by Michael Keaton, says this to himself as he steps out of the sanitarium. He's happy he's allowed outside the hospital and thinks it's "great to be young and insane".
8. Albert ONLY mimics sports announcers.

Answer: False

Although mimicking sports announcers is his favorite way of communicating, he does mimic commercials too. When Henry mentions that Albert stole another patient's cupcake, Albert says "Nobody doesn't like Sara Lee". Another example of NOT mimicking a sports announcer is the way he mentions Alexander Hamilton when Dr. Weitzman gives him a ten dollar bill.
9. Who says, "I didn't know there were so many John Does in this world. It's hopeless"?

Answer: Henry

The group doesn't know Dr. Weitzman had witnessed a murder and was shot. Although Albert knows Dr. Weitzman is hurt, he doesn't say anything. Hours later, they figure out that Dr. Weitzman was taken away in an ambulance. The group visits several hospitals, checking for John Does in hopes that they will find Dr. Weitzman.

Henry says this right before they enter the hospital that Dr. Weitzman is actually in.
10. The group sets out on an unsupervised trip to Yankee Stadium after they return Dr. Weitzman to the sanitarium.

Answer: True

Dr. Weitzman is impressed the group has improved so much. Henry sees his family for the first time in two years, and actually gives his beloved clipboard to his daughter. Jack is thinking of going back to advertising, and Billy sees his former girlfriend. Albert actually speaks to Billy, and it has nothing to do with television. Because of these and other improvements, Dr. Weitzman lets them take the van to Yankee Stadium.
