Corey's name was short for Manticore, which was also her species. She was voiced by Octavia Spencer. Corey and Laurel became friends and set off to rescue Ian and Barley before they were injured on their quest.

Ian, using a spell from Barley, engorged one of their snacks. As they floated down a river, Barley kept snacking on the boat. The boat led them through an old cave. The cave however lead them to the sewer system, which put them back downtown with less than two hours before the spell to bring back their father wore off.

When Corey decided to stop sending people on quests and turned her tavern into a more family-friendly restaurant, she no longer needed the sword.

Known as Demon Crusher, she pawned the sword to help her cover some financial responsibilities. Before Laurel and Corey could go after the boys, they had to get the sword back.

Wilden was voiced by Kyle Bornheimer in the one scene he was in. Ian didn't get to see his father other than at a distance though, as he was fighting a dragon. Barley talked with him briefly as the sun set.

Barley managed to find the gem in an old fountain that was about to be torn down. The sewer had led them to the gem after all.

Bornheimer was also the narrator of the movie.
