He is an interesting leader because he is always so cautious and listens to his tail. When his tail tingles, he doesn't feel safe about something and won't do it.

In the very first scene of the movie, RJ is hungry and is unable to get the bag of chips out of the vending machine. He decides to go to the Bear's cave and take a few things, but once he sees the mountain of food the bear has, he decides to take all of it.

The bear wakes up from his hibernation and RJ is so scared that he pushes all the food off the edge of the cliff. RJ then agrees that if the bear does not kill him, he will get all of his food back in one week.

Vincent is storing all of his food for the winter, because he is hibernating. RJ is hungry so he goes and steals all of his food.

Hammy is the squirrel that is always running around. He is so hyper, that when given caffeine, time stops. He also is the cutest character in the movie and happens to be my favorite.

He does not have a lot of control over his children. In the beginning of the movie he offers to watch the children so his wife can relax, but the baby porcupines do not listen to him. He is voiced by Eugene Levy.

This one is hard. Right when he comes, he says that his name is Dwayne. This is the only time it is mentioned in the movie.

RJ has never had a family before and he is touched to see how these animals love each other. In the end, Verne asks if he would like to be a part of their family and RJ agrees. So in the end, they all live happily ever after.
