He's the one you see controlling the dead villager.

2. Which of the demons did Jubei face in his past?

Gemma was once beheaded by Jubei.

3. There was a demon Jubei helped Kagero escape from, and then was later beat up pretty badly by the angry demon. Who was it?

Answer: Tessai

Couldn't Jubei see he was busy? He got busted up pretty good, lost one tooth and probably had a couple cracked ribs.

4. Now skip ahead in the movie. Jubei goes to save Kagero from another of the demons, knowing it's a trap. Who is this demon who was able to control Kagero?

The sneak distracted Jubei with a wounded fox, then doubled back and kidnapped Kagero after the monk told her she was the cure for Jubei.

Yurimaru was jealous when he heard from Zakuro that Gemma regularly "had" Bennisato, and he killed her for her "failure" later.

The hive-man seemed to be making fun of Jubei, taunting him with the news of Gemma. Also wasn't very careful and did die because of Jubei's skill.

Answer: Utsutsu

Funny thing was how great he was, at fighting, despite being blind. My favorite of all the demons.

8. Zakuro ends up using her abilities to kill Yurimaru, but ultimately died by blowing up herself. Who caused it?

Answer: Jubei

Dakuwan (sp...the monk) set the oil, but she extinguished the candle he had. Jubei shows up with one and finishes the job, lighting the oil which in turn blew up the gunpowder on her.

9. One of the demons surely would have killed Jubei, if there was no interference from one of his fellow demons. Which of them had Jubei helpless and could've finished him off faster?

Answer: Yurimaru

Bennisato could've killed Jubei twice. The first time the monk interferred, the second time Kagero did. While she was killed by Yurimaru, he never interferred. Tessai died from violating Kagero, and the others left Mushizo to try finishing Jubei off.

10. Gemma would have eventually won his fight against Jubei, he'd broken one of Jubei's arms and was constantly regenerating himself, but Jubei escaped in the end. How did he escape?

Answer: He cut off one of Gemma's arms.

Molten gold poured over Gemma from the ship tilting. Jubei avoided it and went to leave, thinking Gemma couldn't follow. He had to cut Gemma's arm from his leg to get away after the villian jumped up and caught him. Because he was covered in gold, Gemma sank, not trapped by the ship.
