Iris' quaint picture-postcard perfect English cottage is named Rosehill Cottage. The name is on the front gate and completely covered with snow the first time Amanda sees it.

Sophie, played by Miffy Englefield, and Olivia, played by Emma Pritchard are Graham's young, completely adorable daughters! These two are the most charming little things you have ever seen, and they steal every scene they're in. They reveal, during their first meeting with Amanda, just how lonely they are for an adult female in their lives, since the death of their mother.

Amanda has decided, after only a few hours, that she has made a mistake and doesn't belong at Rosehill Cottage. She tells Graham that she'll be flying out the next day, but Graham, already smitten with her, tells her that if she changes her mind, he'll be having dinner with friends at the pub.

When he arrives at the pub, he immediately looks around for her, and they smile at each other across the room.
