Answer: Johnny Depp

Depp, born on June 9th, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky, was cast as James M. Barrie. James was a playwright and was first seen attending a production of one of his plays. After it was done, he spoke with a patron who informed him she enjoyed the play very much. James responded by telling her he appreciated her praise.

When the woman's husband asked James what his opinion was of the play, he replied that he could do better. One day at the park, James met Sylvia Llewelyn Davies and her children and befriended all of them. James would eventually write a play called "Peter Pan" which involved pirates and he saw this play get showcased at a local theater. Depp starred in the movies, "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl", "A Nightmare on Elm Street" (1984) and "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street".

In 2005, he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role for "Finding Neverland" but lost to Jamie Foxx for "Ray". Other Oscar nominees for Best Actor in a Leading Role that year were Leonardo DiCaprio for "The Aviator", Don Cheadle for "Hotel Rwanda" and Clint Eastwood for "Million Dollar Baby".

Mitchell, a native of Melbourne, Australia, portrayed Mary Ansell Barrie. Mary was James' wife and was first seen attending a performance of a play which he wrote. Shortly after this, Mary was at home and in her room when James knocked on the door to ask her if she wanted to go to the park with him. Mary asked him if he would be working while at the park and James said he might. Mary told James she would then not go to the park in case James got to work there, as she felt her presence would distract him. James apologized to Michael and then Michael informed him he had to stay under the bench since George "imprisoned" him there. James then asked Michael what his name was so Michael gave him his name. Winslet, born on October 5th, 1975 in Reading, Berkshire, England, landed the role of Sylvia Llewelyn Davies. Sylvia had five children named George, Michael, Jack, Peter and Nicholas (not seen in the movie) and was at the park with them one day when she met James.

She noticed Michael lying underneath a bench so she told him to get up from underneath there, which he did. When James gave his name to Sylvia, she recognized him as a famous playwright and she mentioned to her children that he was quite famous. Sylvia apologized to James since she believed she interrupted him while he was writing but he told her he was not writing anything. Sylvia and her children sat down on the grass while James entertained them with his dog, Porthos. Winslet had roles in the films "Titanic", "Revolutionary Road" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind".

In 2009, she won an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for the film "The Reader". Other Oscar nominees for Best Actress in a Leading Role that year were Angelina Jolie for "Changeling", Anne Hathaway for "Rachel Getting Married", Melissa Leo for "Frozen River" and Meryl Streep for "Doubt".

Highmore, a native of London, England, was cast as Peter Llewelyn Davies. James then asked Peter if he ever helped someone write a play and Peter again told him he had not. James noticed Peter's brothers and his mother were not with him so he asked him where they were. James asked Charles if he would be willing to showcase another play of his at the theater and Charles mentioned he would do it. James then walked off and then someone brought Charles a form for him to sign that had to do with storage. Charles then went inside the theater and sat beside James while they watched a rehearsal. Hoffman was seen playing characters in the films "Hook", "Kramer vs. Kramer" and "Mad City".

In 1975, he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role for "Lenny" but lost to Art Carney for "Harry and Tonto".

Other Oscar nominees for Best Actor in a Leading Role that year were Albert Finney for "Murder on the Orient Express", Jack Nicholson for "Chinatown" and Al Pacino for "The Godfather: Part II".

Christie portrayed Emma du Marier. Emma was Sylvia's mother and grandmother to Peter, Jack, George and Michael and was first seen at the Barrie residence having dinner there. Mary informed Emma that she went to many social events and always saw Emma's name listed amongst all the other organizers for the events. Emma mentioned that she was running two households at the time and snidely stated Sylvia felt she could get by without a housekeeper. Other Oscar nominees for Best Actress in a Leading Role that year were Julie Andrews for "The Sound of Music", Samantha Eggar for "The Collector", Elizabeth Hartman for "A Patch of Blue" and Simone Signoret for "Ship of Fools".

Near the end of the movie, Dr. Brighton saw Sylvia and asked her if there had been any changes since his last visit but she told him there had been none.
