Answer: Street Fighting Man

At first called "Pay Your Dues" then changed to "Street Fighting Man." It went on to be the most political song the Stones had recorded, and is featured on the album "Beggers Banquet" released in 1968. Although not a commercial success, peaking at Number 48 on the Billboard Charts, it did prove lyrically very in tune with the reality of life in the late sixties.
5. "Oh, a storm is threat'ning my very soul today If I don't get some shelter Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away War, children, it's just a shot away It's just a shot away." Which great number is this?

Answer: Gimme Shelter

"Gimme Shelter" is featured on the album "Let It Bleed" released in 1969. One of the most memorable times in popular music that a back-up singer stole the show. Singer Merry Clayton screamed her way into history, and added her own hook to make a great song greater.

She was married to Jazz great Curtis Amy who played the saxophone solo on The Doors classic "Touch Me." Now that's a musical family.
6. "I know I've dreamed you, a sin and a lie I have my freedom, but I don't have much time Faith has been broken, tears must be cried Let's do some living, after we die." Which track is this?

Answer: Wild Horses

"Wild Horses" was featured on the album "Sticky Fingers" released in 1971. A great acoustic number that's been covered by many artists over the years. If you're a great fan of this song you should listen to The Sunday's version. One of the best covers I've ever heard.
7. "If I could dig down deep in my heart feelings would flood on the page Would it satisfy ya, would it slide on by ya Would ya think the boy's insane? He's insane." What number is this?

"Shattered" was featured on the album "Some Girls" released in 1978. Originally recorded in 1977, it didn't find its way to a single until 1979 when it peaked at Number 31 on the Billboard Charts. Jagger has claimed he wrote the song in the back of a New York City cab.
9. "A smile relieves a heart that grieves Remember what I said." What great number is this?

Answer: Waiting On A Friend

"Waiting On A Friend" was featured on the album "Tattoo You" released in 1981. The second single off the album, it reached Number 13 on the Billboard Charts. The Stones had the music to this great song, and were recording demos in the early 70s. Only problem was no lyrics. They eventually wrote some great ones.
10. "Let's grab the world By the scruff of the neck And drink it down deeply Let's love it to death." Which track is this?

Answer: Mixed Emotions
