The album "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales. Rockfield Studios had a history of producing several top singles and albums for British rock bands. Rockfield Studios breakthrough came in 1970, with the release of the single "I Hear You Knocking", sung by the Welsh singer Dave Edmunds.

Other well known bands using the Studio were, Adam and the Ants, Black Sabbath, Manic Street Preachers and Simple Minds.

"Wonderwall" was track three on the album. The track was released as a single in Oct, 1995.
