"Feels Like Heaven" by Fiction Factory reached number six in the UK Singles Chart in 1984.
The band's only other UK chart success was their follow up single "Ghost of Love", also from 1984, which scraped into the charts at number sixty four.

Answer: Farley

Born Farley Keith Williams, "Farley Jackmaster Funk" had a hit with the song "Love Can't Turn Around" which was originally released in America by Steve Silk Hurley, who wrote it, and was Farley's college room mate.
Farley altered it slightly and released it in Europe under his own name. Whether the two remained on speaking terms afterward is not recorded...

"Dance Hall Days" reached number 21 in the UK Singles Charts in 1984. It was the only single to chart for one hit wonder band Wang Chung; much kudos to you if you remembered this one :-)

"Break my Stride" by Matthew Wilder reached number four on the UK Singles Charts in 1984, and was Matthew's only UK chart success.

Released in 1985, "Cities in Dust" reached number 21 in the UK Singles Charts. Siouxie and the Banshees released 28 singles in the UK, between 1978 and 1994, and had two Top Ten hits. Their most successful single was a cover of the Lennon/McCartney track "Dear Prudence", which reached number three.

"San Damiano" was written after Stevens visited the Italian village of the same name, and was performed with a boy's choir singing the treble parts.
Prior to his "Sal Solo" days, Stevens was the lead singer of Classix Nouveaux who were hugely successful in Poland, and also Roketz, who were one of the best selling pop bands of the time in Italy.
