Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Bob Marley sang, "Said I remember when we used to sit in the government yard in trenchtown."

Answer: No Woman no Cry

Gotta love Bob!
2. Inner Circle sang this song. "Standing across the room I saw you smile. Said I want to talk to you for a little while."

Answer: Sweat

This song probably isn't as well known as "Bad Boys", but I love it anyway.
3. One of Shaggy's bigger hits. "How could I forget that I had given her an extra key All this time she was standing there she never took her eyes off me."

Answer: It Wasn't Me

Shaggy's bad advice to a cheating man...don't listen to him, fellas. My advice would be...don't get caught. ;)
4. One of Sean Paul's awesome dance songs. "Yo sexy ladies want par with us In a the car with us Them nah war with us In a the club them want flex with us..."

Answer: Get Busy

A GREAT club song, just makes ya want to get up and dance, huh.
5. "Woman your love is like burning fire in me soul Tease me woman till I lose control." Chaka Demus and the Pliers.

Answer: Tease Me

A fairly old song, I would say its from the early 90's. Brings back fond memories of my clubbing days.
6. "'Cause me say listen to the drummer, me say listen to the bass Give me little music make me wind up me waist" Probably the most well known song by Musical Youth.

Answer: Pass the Dutchie

Released in 1994 under the label One Way Records. Honestly, "Pass the Dutchie" is the only song of Musical Youth that I remember hearing...but a great song it is.
7. "You caught me on the loose fighting to be free now you show me a noose on the cotton tree". One of my favorite songs by Third World.

Answer: 1865 (96 degrees in the shade)

I first heard this song performed by an artist from Hawaii and it stuck with me. Third World has been around for a really long time; I believe they just put out a 25th anniversary album in 2001.
8. "Old pirates, yes, they rob I; Sold I to the merchant ships, Minutes after they took I From the bottomless pit." Performed by Bob Marley.

Answer: Redemption Song

You knew there had to be another Bob Marley song.
9. "I'd have sworn that with time thoughts of you would leave my head I was wrong, now I find just one thing makes me forget" Not an original song by UB40 but I still love it!

Answer: Red Red Wine

Neil Diamond originally performed this song on his 1967 album "Just For You."
10. Maxi Priest and Shaggy performed this song. "She's the kind of woman who lets you know When she knows what she wants, she won't let go Takes you to a place of your fantasy Walks you to the door, but she holds the key"

Answer: That Girl

"That Girl" is from the album "Man with the Fun", which was nominated for a 1997 Grammy for Best Reggae Album.
