This was a trick question. They changed their name to The Teenagers later, and Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers even later, but were known as The Premiers in the very beginning.

Frankie died on Feburary 27, 1968 at the age of 25. He was found dead in his hotel room from a heroin overdose.
