"Every Inambition" was the first single off of "House of Ill Fame", and officially put The Trews on the map.

The Trews are made up of Colin, John-Angus, Jack and Shawn. The band is Canadian, from Niagara Falls.

"Not Ready To Go" was the second single off of "House of Ill Fame", and is probably the most well-known song on the album. It also earned The Trews a Canadian Radio Music Award in 2005 for Best New Rock Group.

My personal favourite song off the album, it is said to be about a gambler who took his life by jumping over a waterfall. I highly recommend this song to any fan of rock.

There was also a special edition of "House of Ill Fame", which included a live CD along with regular CD. Songs on the live CD include "When You Leave", "Black Halo", "Fleeting Trust", "Tired of Waiting", and "Hollis and Morris. It also features a small cover of the ending of The Beatles song "Hey Jude", and a previously unreleased song, "So She's Leaving".

Vocalist Colin and lead guitarist John-Angus are brothers. Sean, the drummer, is their cousin, and Jack, the bassist, is a friend of all the members.
