"Strange Brew" was the first single released from the classic Cream album "Disraeli Gears". Featuring Eric Clapton on lead vocals, the song peaked at number 17 on the UK music charts in June, 1967. While failing to crack the US Top 40, the song nonetheless has become a staple on classic rock radio stations.

Keith Whitley's life was tragically cut short by alcoholism, dying in 1989 at the peak of his popularity. Though brief, his career and style influenced many later Country singers.
