Marie-Anne Charlotte Corday was born in France on 27 July 1768 and became a sympathizer with the Girondists during the French Revolution. This party was more restrained in their radical views than the revolutionary Jean-Paul Marat. On the pretext of betraying Girondists names to Marat, Charlotte Corday stabbed him to death on 9 July 1793.

She blamed him for many of the deaths which had occurred from mobs incited with revolutionary fervor. Charlotte was guillotined for the crime 17 July 1793.

Lenin recovered, but Fanya Kaplan was shot on 3 September 1918.

She and her accomplices tried to poison Commodus but when they feared that he might not actually die from this, they paid a young athlete to finish the job.

Kunoichi were female ninja primarily trained to use seduction and poison to kill their victims. A favorite weapon was neko-te, which were metal fingernails dipped in poison.
