Answer: Paul Waner

Most of Paul's 20 seasons were as a Pittsburgh Pirate. He and his brother Lloyd, nicknamed 'Little Poison', shared the outfield with the Pirates from 1927-1940.
2. Which Detroit Tiger catcher set a record for hitting 18 home runs in one month?

Answer: Rudy York

York hit 18 in the month of August in 1937 to help his total of 35 for the season. He hit 277 over 13 seasons.
3. Which of the following players appeared in and won four World Series in his first four seasons of Major League baseball?

Answer: Joe DiMaggio

DiMaggio began his career in 1936. His Yankees went to four consecutive from 1936-1939. They and Joe would have appeared in seven consecutive trips, had it not been for the Tigers winning the American League in 1940.
4. Which New York Mets pitcher began a season with 13 consecutive losses before he finally won a game?

Answer: Anthony Young

Young spent only six seasons in the Major Leagues. In 1993, his dismal start ended him up with a 1-16 record for the season. His career record was 15-48.
