Answer: 8-0 v. Turkey

They beat Ireland 9-2 in 1949 before qualifying for the 1950 tournament. The 8-0 win happened in 1985, and the Malta and Wales scores do not exist. England beat Turkey by 8 goals which is more than 7 goal margin in the win against Ireland.
