Anderson hit 50 home runs for the Baltimore Orioles in 1996. Despite having 11 more at-bats the following year, he hit only 18 homers. He hit 24 in 1999, and finished his career with 210.
2. Which year did Astros great Jeff Bagwell win his first National League MVP award?

Answer: 1994

Bagwell won the National League MVP in the strike-shortened season of 1994. He led the entire league with 116 RBI and was second in batting average (.368) and home runs (39).
3. How many times did Pirates Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente have the Major Leagues' best batting average?

Answer: 3

Clemente had the Majors' best batting average in 1964, 1965, and 1967. He led the just the National League in 1961 with a .351 average. American Leaguer Norm Cash batted .361 that year. Clemente died tragically in a plane crash on New Years Eve, 1972 and was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame the following year.
