Answer: Red Pollard

Although Red Pollard was Seabiscuit's main rider, it was George Woolf who rode him in his 1938 race with War Admiral.
2. What make of cars did Charles Howard sell at his dealership?

Answer: Buick

Before he was a car salesman, Charles Howard repaired bicycles. When he saw the automobile's potential - he was one of the first to own a Buick - he went into the car dealership business.

Pollard was severely injured twice, most notable was when he rode a filly called Fair Knightess. The injuries he received from that spill almost cut his leg off below the knee.
