She then gave him the bad news that Amanda had demoted her to telephone duty. She informed Billy how Amanda was looking to hire someone for Allison's old position but Allison said she was unsure if Amanda would consider rehiring her. Near the end of the episode, Amanda rehired Allison.

Jake informed Jo how a former friend of his, Perry, came to town and that he would be spending some time with her. After Jake and Perry went out on the town, Jo paid Jake a visit and told her to not tell him he found out he had another long lost child.

This was in reference to Jake finding out in a previous episode that he fathered a child without his knowing of it. Jake told Jo that Perry was having some hard times so he was comforting her through them.

Allison told Amanda that, if she was upset about something, then they should have it out right then and now.
