Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Whitley, Ron, and Dwayne all have an important paper to write for their Philosophy class. What percent of their total grade would the paper be?

Answer: 35%

Even though Dwayne promised Ron they could write their paper together, he changed his mind at the last minute. He wanted to pair up with the more focused student, Sam Lee. In the end Dwayne honors his promise to Ron, but not without some regret.
2. What is the name of the Philosophy teacher?

Answer: Dr. Mason

Dr. Mason was played by actress Luise Heath.
3. What is the name of the girl that Ron would rather spend time with, instead of working on his paper in the Library?

Answer: Noel

Her name is Noel, and she is played by Lisa Todd. Lisa was also in an episode of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" in season 3. Charisse is the name of the girl Whitley is assigned to do her paper with.
4. Dwayne and Freddie were in The Pit when she told him she was about to interview for a job there.

Answer: False

They were actually in the Library when she told him this.
Dwayne: "Teddy, Frankie..."
Freddie: "Freddie."
Dwayne: "I knew it was a guy's name."
5. When Freddie and Kim were interviewing with Mr. Gaines, what food place [eatery] did Kim express she had prior experience at?

Answer: Bubble Burger

Kim: "I worked at Bubble Burger in Columbus, Ohio all through high school. I started off as onion girl, then I was Bubble Burger collator, and last summer I was promoted..." Mr. Gaines cut her off, he'd heard enough and hired her on the spot. Poor Freddie never did get a job in this episode.
6. Dwayne and Ron are hoping to catch a beach party at which fraternity/sorority house?

Answer: Alpha House

The beach party was at the Alpha House, which I believe is a fraternity, but could be a sorority. The party was at 9:30 pm, and Ron bought a ready made paper so they would not miss it. Lambda Nu is the fraternity Ron joined later in the series. The KEG fraternity was the one Steve Sanders joined in college on "Beverly Hills 90210".
7. Ron shows Dwayne a paper he'd purchased instead of doing the research himself. What is Dwayne's response, "Ron Johnson is a ________"?

Answer: bucket head

They get into a huge fight in the Library and Ron leaves.
8. While complaining to Jalessa, Dwayne describes Ron as the "National Poster Boy for ____________".

Answer: Irresponsibility

Jalessa told Dwayne that he was always hard on Ron, and had to have his own way. She said that if he wanted Ron back as a friend, he needed to look past some stuff.
9. In a discussion with Freddie, Kim admits that even she did not get the first job she applied for.

Answer: False

Kim: "Do you think I got the first job I applied for?"
Freddie: "Yes."
Infact, Kim did get the very first job she applied for. This did not do much to help Freddie's self esteem. She had applied for a lot of jobs on campus that day, and everyone turned her down.
10. Dwayne enlisted the help of Whitley to trick Ron into actually doing the work for their paper, so they would not have to use the one he paid for.

Answer: True

Dwayne found Ron in The Pit, apologized about the fight, agreed to use the illegal paper, and left Ron to go buy some food. Whitley came in and greeted Ron "Hello Renaldus!" She called her paper 'profound', and left it sitting out where he could see it.

He saw it was the same exact paper he'd paid for and immediately agreed to forgo the party to get the real paper done. At the end of this episode Charisse and Whitley come into class, and Charisse (seemingly unaware of the charade) blurts out the name of the paper she and Whitley really did.

Then Whitley turns around and lets the cat out of the bag. Way to go Dwayne!
