1. In the opening scene, who spoke to a lawyer?

Answer: Jo Reynolds

Jo was arrested in the previous episode for killing Reed Carter and this episode began with a prison guard taking her to go see a public defender. Jo spoke to the public defender about what had happened with the previous night when she and Reed fought on the boat. The public defender had a hard time believing Jo's story and it was shortly after this that the DA came in to talk to Jo.
2. Which actor played Benjamin Skyler in this episode?

Answer: Stephen Furst

Furst, born on May 8th, 1955 in Norfolk, Virginia guest starred as Benjamin Skyler, the public defender Jo spoke to in this episode. This was the only episode of the series in which Furst made a guest starring appearance. He has also guest starred on the TV series', "Chicago Hope", "Diagnosis Murder" and "Scrubs."
3. Which actor played Quinton Benson in this episode?

Answer: Matt McCoy

McCoy, born on May 20th, 1958 in Washington, D.C. guest starred as Quinton Benson, the district attorney assigned to deal with Jo's criminal case. This was the only episode of the series where McCoy played Quinton Benson. He has also had guest starring stints on the TV shows, "Grace Under Fire", "Seinfeld" and "The West Wing."

Jo argued with the DA about how she shot Reed Carter in self defense but the DA had a hard time believing this so he just left the jail. Jo did say she had one phone call that she had not taken yet so she was allowed to make a call. She called Jake and told him what had happened so Jake went to the jail to see her but he was not allowed to visit Jo.

Billy was at the magazine trying to get his old job back since he left New York City and came back home. He got on the phone with Allison and she asked him if he was free for lunch. Billy said he was unsure since he was not certain if he still had a job. Allison told him she wanted to talk to him about last night, as in when Billy proposed to her, so Billy agreed to see her at 1 p.m.
6. Who told Allison she knew things about Billy that even she did not know?

Answer: Amanda Woodward

Allison got off the phone with Billy and noticed that Amanda was standing right there so Amanda asked her if she and Billy were back together. Allison told her that was none of her business but Amanda said it was since relationships could affect one's work performance. Amanda also informed Allison how she knew things about Billy that even Allison did not know.
7. Who served Michael breakfast in this episode?

Answer: Sydney Andrews

At Michael's beach house, Sydney was there making him some breakfast and she took something out of the microwave to give to him. She then poured him some orange juice and asked him if she could do anything else for him. Michael was not in a good mood so Sydney told him to not be so cranky.

Jo was arraigned at the courthouse in this episode and the judge called for her case to be heard. Jo's public defense lawyer asked the judge to give him a minute while he locates the case file. As he was looking for the file, Jo turned around and noticed Billy, Allison, and Jake in the courtroom audience. Amanda was also seen in this episode since she came in with a lawyer she hired to represent Jo. Jane was nowhere to be seen in the courtroom.

Billy told Amanda at the courthouse that it was a nice thing she did with getting a lawyer to represent Jo so Amanda told him he should not be surprised. Billy then informed her that he was planning on telling Allison about the one night stand they had. Amanda advised him not to do it but Billy said he wanted to clear the air with her and he was making the confession.
10. A doctor told Michael that Sydney did a bad impression of him.

Answer: False

Michael was at Wilshire Memorial Hospital and noticed Sydney speaking to a colleague of his who was also a doctor. Michael went to go talk to both of them and the doctor told Michael how Sydney did such a great impression of him. Michael asked Sydney what she was doing there so she told him she was bringing him a cappuccino.

The doctor also told Michael that Sydney convinced him that Michael was off the painkillers and therefore could be taken off administrative duty.
