All of the above have written episodes for the show but it was Allison Robbins who was credited for penning this particular showing of "Melrose Place." In the beginning of the show, you could see, during the credits, that her name was listed as the scriptwriter for this episode. Sydney told Jane she would not go since her father had cut her out of the will a long time ago and she felt there was no point. In Amanda's first scene in this episode, Bruce came to her office and Amanda told him he should be recovering at home (Bruce collapsed in the previous episode). Bruce told Amanda that he found out someone leaked the story, about his collapsing, and that D&D Advertising's stock went down to a very low level. Bruce also mentioned, to Amanda, that someone purchased stock in the company but he did not know who..

After Bruce left her office, Amanda made a call, to Peter, and told him what Bruce told her. Peter informed Amanda that he purchased the stock, in D&D Advertising, for both of them. Peter was the only person Amanda called in this episode.

In the middle of the show, Jake was confronted by someone in the mob who wanted something from Jake, and Jake denied his request. Sydney saw what transpired and told Jake to be careful since these guys were in the mob but Jake assured her they would be fine. Jake was attacked by the mob, but he survived.

Amanda heard that Allison took a couple of hours off from work to go get a new car, and she was livid. Amanda encountered Allison and told her she had to cancel a couple of important meetings to tend to some accounts Allison was in charge of at D&D. Amanda told Allison that, if she found out she took some hours off from work to get a car, she would fire her.
