Two of The Joker and Catwoman's cohorts snuck up behind Batgirl and tied her with twine which Catwoman had made. The Joker worried about her breaking through the thin twine but Catwoman mentioned that it was not ordinary twine. She described it as one that was able to strangle once in contact with the human body and eventually Batgirl would die from strangulation.
