Delinda, like everyone else, was surprised to see A.J. arrive at his own funeral so this caused her to be very overwhelmed. All these feelings led to Delinda going into premature labor. However, the viewers never found out with the labor since this episode (and series) concluded on the cliffhanger regarding Delinda's going into labor.

The episode began with Sam speaking with Piper and she showed Sam something she got in the mail. She received papers from the state that confirmed her marriage to Mike was legit and, while they were legally married since they accidentally exchanged vows, they needed official documents explaining the legality behind their union. Piper and Mike agreed in the previous episode that they belonged together. Sam congratulated Piper on receiving these pertinent documents in the mail.

As the opening credits progressed, Sam spoke with a guest who claimed to not really care for her sense of humor. Sam insisted on him hearing some of her jokes but he expressed annoyance at her. The guest also informed Sam as to how he did not particularly care about getting drunk while staying at the Montecito.

In one scene, several men took the people in the security room hostage. Mike and Danny found out about this and both of them discussed strategy on how best to subdue the men. Mike stated they ought to get the Las Vegas Metro Police Department involved but Danny thought that to be a bad idea.

Midway through the episode, Mitch was in the security room when he took a phone call. It was Mike's mother so Mitch put down the phone to let Mike know that his mother was on the line. Mike took the call and his mother started to ask him numerous questions about his new "fiancée", Piper.

She thought at this point that Mike was just engaged so this caused Mike to put on a fake wedding for her sake as well as his other family members who did not know about his instant marriage to Piper.
