Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The episode opened to which person sweeping a floor?

Answer: Arya

Arya was sweeping inside the House of Black and White. She went up to Jaqen and said "I've been sweeping this floor for days", he replied with "good", and she added that she hadn't come there to sweep floors.
2. King Tommen and Margaery were married.

Answer: True

Margaery became queen once more, when she married her brother-in-law Tommen Baratheon. Cersei looked on, pretending to celebrate their union.
3. Who asked Cersei if she missed Casterly Rock?

Answer: Tommen

Margaery had put the idea into Tommen's head that maybe Cersei would be better off sent home. She alluded that Cersei would try and control Tommen if she stayed in King's Landing. So, Tommen asked his mother if she missed her original home, and Cersei said there was nothing there for her.

Jaime and Tyrion were not in King's Landing during this episode, and Tywin died in the season four finale.
4. Who was listening when Roose Bolton offered his son Ramsay a wife?

Answer: Theon

Theon had just served food to Ramsay. He walked a short distance away to set down the tray and listened to Roose offer Ramsay a wife to seal their hold on the north. It was Ramsay who'd destroyed Theon a while back, by torture and mutilation. He convinced Theon his name was Reek and obliterated his identity. Ramsay enjoyed doing these things.
5. Was Sansa happy at the thought of marrying Roose Bolton?

Answer: No

Petyr stopped her just above Moat Cailin to let her know they were returning to Winterfell. Sansa knew the Boltons controlled her former home, and she assumed Petyr meant for her to marry Roose. Roose had killed her brother Robb, and was responsible for her mother's death at the Red Wedding. Petyr told her it was Ramsay she'd be marrying, and she threatened to starve herself before marrying a Bolton. Petyr told her he wouldn't force her to marry, but said it was time to stop running and avenge her family.
6. Brienne offered to train Pod with the sword.

Answer: True

She'd first asked him about how he'd come to be the squire for Tyrion. He told her the story. She apologized then for always snapping at him. He said he didn't mind, as he was learning from her. So, she asked him if he wanted to be a knight. He nodded yes, and she offered to start training him to use a sword. She then told Pod the story about her affection for Renly Baratheon.
7. Taking indirect advice from Jaqen, Arya rid herself of her belongings. She threw her clothes into the sea, but where did she put her sword Needle?

Answer: Inside a rock wall

Needle, given to her by her brother Jon Snow, was the one item she could not bear to put into the sea. So, she hid it inside a rock wall by the sea in Braavos. She took Jaqen's words to heart, and rid herself of Arya Stark's possessions in order to become a Faceless Man.
8. Where did Jon appoint Janos Slynt?

Answer: Greyguard

Jon started the meeting off with plans to dig a new latrine pit. Then, he named Alliser First Ranger, despite Stannis urging him to send Alliser away to Eastwatch-by-the-Sea. Greyguard was an abandoned castle along the wall, which had largely fallen to ruin. Janos was infuriated by the insult.

He defied the order by Jon, and said some very insubordinate things to his Commander. So, Jon executed him as he begged for mercy. The three incorrect choices are other castles of the Night's Watch.
9. Who was dragged out of a brothel by the Sparrows and paraded naked in King's Landing?

Answer: High Septon

Aferward, the High Septon came before Cersei, Grand Maester Pycelle, and two others. He demanded that the High Sparrow be found and killed for the disgrace brought upon him. Cersei did find the man, but they bonded instead of becoming enemies. She told him that the High Septon was in a dungeon now, as she agreed him to be a hypocrite.
10. "Every ambitious move is a gamble." Who was Petyr talking to when he said this?

Answer: Roose

Roose had intercepted a message from Cersei. She hadn't know exactly where he was, so she had a raven sent to the Eyrie. A rider brought it on into Winterfell, and Roose read it before he gave it to Petyr. He asked Petyr why he was gambling against the Lannisters when they'd already given him so much. That quote was his answer.

He went on to say it had been a gamble when Roose killed Robb Stark, and that it appeared to have paid off. He reminded Roose that the Eyrie was his, and the last time the lords of the Eyrie had aligned with the lords of the north they'd brought down the greatest dynasty the world had ever known.
