This was the first of two live episodes in this season. They were filmed this way to commemorate the fact that season 8 would be the final season for 'Will and Grace'. The second was 'Bathroom Humour', the 11th episode of the season.

Later, she says, "The doctor told me he could separate my toes with a laser, but I said, no, scissors! Hey, if it was good enough for my mother..."

Jack appears wearing an eye patch. He tells everyone that he got glitter in his eye during an accident at the premiere of his new show 'Jack Talk'. Later, he reveals to Grace that he didn't have a GRI. He actually singed his eyebrow off after a studio fire, leading to a comedy moment where Grace draws a ridiculous fake eyebrow on him.

Malcolm (Alec Baldwin) is a very strange government agent protecting Stan. Unfortunately, he has developed a crush on Karen and does not want to confirm that Stan is alive. Will knows the truth but Malcolm keeps turning up and 'threatening him'.

While Malcolm and Will are in the hallway, they discuss the song 'Que Sera Sera'. When Malcolm says "Whatever will be, will be - it's the very next line of the song." Will replies, "I know what it means, I was obsessed with Doris Day, the same as any other normal teenage boy!"

Grace is in emotional turmoil over the decision to have an affair with her married ex. She goes to Jack for advice as she thinks he has cheated many times. At first, he talks about how good cheating is and how fun it is. After a good talk, Jack actually admits he has never cheated, in an attempt to stop Grace from making a mistake.

Karen is about to go on a date with Malcolm and has seemingly laughed off and ignored the revelation that her dead husband is actually alive. Suddenly, she comes back into the apartment and starts discussing the reasons why they must be lying. Rosario then appears and confirms that she has been sending Stan updates on Karen for over a year. This is a rare moment of emotion for Karen.

Everyone has been fooled into thinking Stan was dead. This comment is made just after Will tells Grace that Stan is alive. We find out that the government helped Stan fake his own death and he has been in the witness protection programme after getting on the wrong side of a mob boss.

While in the hallway, Malcolm once again attempts to intimidate Will. He is supposed to be a tough government agent but he consistently makes remarks that make him seem a little weird. We never find out for sure if Malcolm is straight, gay or just completely off his rocker!

Karen is talking about her operation and how she feels she has more compassion since it happened. After this, she runs over Jack's foot with her wheelchair.
Soon after, Karen learns that Stan is still alive.

Grace asks Jack for his opinion on whether or not she should have an affair. Shockingly, Jack reveals that he has never cheated. During this conversation, he admits that he once got a drunken tattoo that said, 'I Love Will'. Unfortunately, we never get to see it!

Karen is obviously in denial as she just laughs and jokes about the possibility of Stan not being dead! Her response to this revelation is to immediately set out on her date with Malcolm.

Jack admits that he has never cheated as he too is a 'woman of quality', which comes as a real shock to Grace. He makes this confession as he doesn't want her to do something she will regret. He reminds her how terrible she felt when her husband cheated on her.

Karen believed that her husband, Stan,had been dead for quite a while. After the announcement from her friends, Karen is clearly upset. Then her faithful maid, Rosario, admits she knew all about it and in anger, Karen fires her!

This is just after Rosario is fired. Karen is obviously in severe denial as she attempts to go on a date with Malcolm, the government agent that has been hiding her supposedly dead husband. Jack lost his eyebrow in the fire at his talk show premiere and Grace had done an awful job of drawing it back on.
