 In this episode, Ted gets pretty hammered off of Carl's made up shots called Red Dragons. He ends up forgetting everything he did like calling Robin a bunch of times and acting like a fool, falling off a table he was standing and singing on and spraining his ankle, and sleeping with a chick he brought home named Trudy. Seems like a great night to me!

 The gang travels around the city on New Year's Eve in a limo that Ted has rented for them.  On Superbowl night, the gangs plans to watch the game are cut short when they find out a worker at the bar has died. They agree that since they can't watch the game, they all cannot find out the score of who won so they can watch it all together the next night.

While everyone tries their hardest, Barney goes out of his way to try and find out the score and while doing so, he meets Emmitt Smith.
